The first country in our series of learning about other cultures is France. The French have a long history that is both fascinating and gruesome. From the French revolution in 1789 to the Napoleonic Wars through to the building of the Eiffel Tower in 1889 and the beginning of the Tour de France in 1903, the history of France is well worth reading about.
