Online Databases

Did you know that the Richmond Upper Clarence Regional Library provides you with access to several free statewide online databases. These include:

  • Academic Search Elite – A scholarly collection, offering full-text coverage in many areas of academic study
  • ANZ Reference Centre – A general collection of Australian and International content
  • Consumer Health Complete – Contains full-text articles on all areas of health, both mainstream and alternative
  • GreenFILE – Information about the human impact on the environment
  • Literary Reference Centre – Information on authors and all of their works
  • MasterFILE Premier – database provides full text for more than 2,100 general reference publications
  • NoveList – Search for books by: title, author, series, plot description or level of readership
  • Points of View Reference Centre – provides students with a series of over 270 essays that present multiple sides of a current issue
  • Science Reference Centre – provides access to a multitude of full text science oriented content. Contains full text for 640 science encyclopaedias, reference books and periodicals
  • Standards Australia Online – A comprehensive online collection of International and Australian standards, many with full text coverage

All of these databases are provided to you FREE OF CHARGE and are available to you both at the library and at home (Standards Australia Online only available in library). To access these databases simply visit our library website and click on “Online Databases” under Services OR click on Online Resources on our library blog homepage.
